Caja de Muertos

Yesterday, we went to Caja de Muertos (coffin of the dead). It is an island south of Ponce. It was beautiful. However, I believe the island got its name from a family man who spent the entire day here with his wife and kids. He'd rather be in a coffin than have to listen to any more nonsense. We were part of group that numbered 17. There were approximately 40 to 50 people in all that enjoyed the entire island. The sand was as white and the water was blue. We did some snorkeling, hiking, and relaxing. We came back exhausted. Kim came back sun burned while my skin gave off a bronze glow.
Audrey and I are enjoying the boat ride to the island.

Our spot on the beach. This is where we spent most of our day.

This is Mike. He was visiting from Florida.
